Fertilization

We use a mostly organic Fertilizer which will build up the health of the soil.  Just like for a house a strong healthy foundation will promote growth. We suggest feeding your lawn 4 times a year.  We apply our fertilizer around Easter, Labor Day, Memorial Day, and again in early October.  

This fertilizer feeds the soil microbes and nourishes the plant.  Which will improve the soil’s ability to grow grass. Our fertilizer does not leach. 

Pet Friendly?

The fertilizer we use is non-Toxic and safe for pets. After our application, monitor your pet to determine their interest in the fertilizer.  If they show interest, keep them off your lawn for about 24 hours. Watering can reduce the attraction of the fertilizer.   

Organic vs. Synthetic

The best way to put this is a simple analogy.   Organic is like working out at the gym over a period of time to see muscle gains.  Synthetic is like taking steroids. Yes it will make the yard nice and green now but it is depriving the soil of the organic materials it needs to be healthy.  

Synthetic fertilizers may not have the microbes for a healthy soil in them.  Synthetic fertilizers also often tend to leach.
